Farmer's Window

This pattern was meant for those amazing feature fabrics. Years ago Susan made a quilt for a family friend's baby. It was their first boy and with the father being an avid hunter she found some prints that were outdoorsy that yelled hunting and fishing. She didn't want to cut it up very much so she made a quilt with one big "window" and 3 small ones below it. Perfect for showcasing the prints.

When Sarah ordered these Artisan Batiks "Summer Flowers" Susan dug back into her pictures to find the baby quilt she made without a pattern.  "Summer Flowers" would be perfect to bring into a new pattern for Farmer's Daughters Quilts. She added a pinwheel because the Lady Farmer is caught saying many times "I love a good pinwheel".

We hope you enjoy showcasing your favorite fabrics that you just don't have the heart to cut up!
