Farmer's Stars & Stripes

This was our very first pattern we designed. It started out for a Moda competition. The competition rules were to make a quilt without a pattern and using only Moda Grunge fabrics. Sarah encouraged Susan to give it a shot. Susan, who never used to like anything with a point, so that would mean no stars for sure, has now fallen in love with anything that has a star, decided to make an American flag inspired quilt.

Once the competition was over, Sarah wrote the instructions to make this a pattern. Our very first pattern. Enjoy!

CORRECTIONS:

Finished Quilt Size: 30 ½” x 55 ½”
Small half square triangles: Trim to 1 ¾” instead of 1 ½”
