Wooden Nickel Saturday
November 11 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
We are delighted to announce an exciting new addition to our events calendar at Farmer’s Daughters Quilts, Wooden Nickel Saturdays! Starting from September, we will be hosting a monthly meeting exclusively designed for passionate quilters like you. This gathering promises to be a wonderful opportunity to connect, share knowledge, and celebrate our shared love for the art of quilting.
🗓️ Every 2nd Saturday of the month
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM
📍 Location: Farmer’s Daughters Quilts classroom
located at 15 E Charles Street, Oelwein.
During our monthly meetings, we aim to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere where quilters of all skill levels can come together to learn, exchange ideas, and showcase their work. Here’s a glimpse of what you can expect:
- Quilting Tips and Techniques: Each meeting will feature a segment dedicated to sharing valuable quilting tips and techniques. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced quilter, there will always be something new to learn and discover.
- Product Spotlight Sale: We will highlight a different quilting product during each meeting. This is an excellent opportunity for you to explore new tools, fabrics, or accessories at special discounted prices.
- Show and Tell: We invite participants to bring their finished quilts to share in our show and tell session. This is a chance to showcase your creations, inspire others, and appreciate the incredible talent within our quilting community. This is where the Wooden Nickel comes in. Anyone who brings something to share will receive a wooden nickel worth $1 at Farmer’s Daughters Quilts.
Attending our monthly meeting is simple! Just mark your calendars for the second Saturday of each month. No registration is required, and everyone is welcome. Simply bring your enthusiasm, passion for quilting, and any finished quilts you’d like to share.
We look forward to seeing you at our Wooden Nickel Saturday meeting! Prepare to be inspired, learn something new, and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow quilters.
